Checklist for home buyers!

It is January and it means home buying and selling busy period just around the corner.

If your 2022 New Year resolution was to by a house, then you will find this check list very useful!

    Let's go:

1. You need to find out how much of a house you can afford: that means you will need to meet with the lender and get pre-qualified. Pre-qualification letter plays big role when you are shopping for your future home; in fact, it shows the seller that you actually can afford the house.

2. How much  money you will need for a down payment( if you need one) and for closing cost? 

3. Get to know the market: is it buyers or sellers market and what that means, what's out there, what's the average price; are houses selling over asking price or not,  how long houses staying on the market?

4.  Get a real picture what kind of a house you are looking for: square footage, how many bedrooms, on a big lot or not, what's your "must haves"and on what you can compromise, in subdivision or not. If you can answer all those question, it will narrow down your search and actually help you to find a perfect place.

There are many things involved in buying process, and it can be frustrating, but that's where your trusted real estate agent comes into the picture to make it as smoth and less stresfull as possible.
